Kindergarten Trip to the Moon!!!
We've spent all month talking about
the solar system...the sun, moon, planets, gravity, space suits,
etc. etc. We were so excited to wrap up this unit with a pretend
trip to the moon! We made space helmets and backpacks for our
trip, and we made bags to collect moon rocks we found on the moon....what
fun we had.

While awaiting our arrival on the
moon, we did the Weightless Workout song......
We brought flags and walkie talkies
with us, in addition to our helmets and backpacks
collecting moon rocks:
riding on the lunar rovers....
and finally, lunch on the moon!
We had no plates (because our lunch would have floated off of
them) and had to eat our yogurt and drink our juice out of pouches...
just like real astronauts!!
We had a great time on the moon!!!!!
